High Hopes for Haiti

JOIN US: We are making a difference

2_insetpic_kidsdesksIn western Haiti, together we are making a difference. To those who now support us and our work, I say thank you. To those of who are not helping us fulfill High Hopes for Haiti at this time, I invite you to join us now. Let me tell you what we are doing.

We are presently feeding nearly 14,000 students and teachers every school day. Consequently, enrollment is increasing at all of our schools because Haitian children are sent to school mainly to be fed.

We are also making a difference in Haiti’s economy. The Good Samaritains School in St. Marc is the #1 private employer in the city. Since the start of the program it has infused more than $4 million into the Haitian economy. The secondary school will inject an additional estimated $2 million. We use only local materials and labor in all of the schools, like the Good Samaritans School and the Cardinal Keeler Trade School.

More importantly, we have touched hearts. All who have visited Haiti through our program speak of the trip as a life changing experience. They are impressed by the high level of happiness of these people who are living in abject poverty. All visitors testify that they receive more from Haiti than they give, struck by the high level of spirituality of the Haitian people.

Will you join me? Please say “yes.”
