College James M Stine (CJMS) hosted the Saint Marc Entrepreneur Association’s first-ever “Genius Competition” where they competed against 7 other schools in academics and engineering. Not only did CJMS host the competition, but their student team won first place!

The team of ten students put in countless hours of work to prepare for the competition. Among the ten were three former LBS students, including team captain Joissirin. The entire school community and administration were thrilled to continue to build the reputation of CJMS among the region, both for its hospitality as well as its excellence and rigor in academia.

Some of the members of the CJMS team shared reflections about how proud they were of their classmates and their school. Throughout their preparation for competition day, the students learned teamwork and discipline and stretched themselves to gain as much knowledge as possible. They reflected on the entire process and captain Joissirin shared: “To achieve something great, you have to be humble, resilient and persevering. Never give up, no matter what, is the key to avoiding regrets.”

The students were filled with gratitude and pride and are looking forward to the next adventure!

Congratulations to all the students and teachers involved and to the entire CJMS community!
