Last month was incredible, kicking off with Dr. Mortel’s birthday, the 24th anniversary of Les Bons Samaritains, and the feast day of St. Francis Xavier— the school’s patron saint.

The day was a beautiful tribute filled with Mass, parades, choir performances, dances, a three-act satire, and inspiring speeches. It was a celebration of resilience, gratitude, and hope, made possible by the dedication of our staff, teachers, students, and supporters.

Before the holiday break, the students and staff also completed exams and cherished the joy of Christmas, celebrating achievements and the unwavering spirit of Haiti.

As we look back, we are reminded of the power of unity, hope, and Dr. Mortel’s vision—a light guiding our youth toward a brighter future for Haiti.
