You may remember that last year, our students in Haiti celebrated Good Samaritan Day for the first time to honor and demonstrate what it means to be a good Samaritan.  March 13th is National Good Samaritan Day, and our school community has been hard at work.

Although Haiti has made the international news the past few weeks because of the political instability and gang violence that has taken over the country, our students and staff at LBS have been focused on collecting funds to make care packages of hygiene products for the local prisoners.

Despite the chaos outside the school walls, this school community is still committed to helping others. Undeterred by the economic challenges they continue to face daily, they are sacrificing from their own pockets to help the less fortunate.

We remain inspired by the students and staff and continue to be hopeful for a brighter future for Haiti.

Thank you for being a good Samaritan to these kids and leading by example of how to serve others!
