Happy 20th Anniversary LBS!

Today, Les Bons Samaritans, our primary school, celebrates 20 years of empowering the poorest of the poor through education in Saint Marc, Haiti. The School opened and welcomed 65 kindergarten students in 2001 and now 600 students learn and are fed daily! Most of all, the kids and their families have a chance for a better future in a country so in need of hope.

Perseverance and resilience, those qualities seem present among the kids and adults who come to these schools. We extend a warm hello to the many graduates over the years, express our gratitude to the teachers and staff, and a heartfelt thank you to the donors and supporters who keep the mission alive and have made such a difference in the lives of so many.

Happy Anniversary LBS! We look forward to another 20 years!

PS- The anniversary of LBS happens to also be Dr. Mortel’s birthday. The kids even sang Happy Birthday as part of today’s celebration!
