Last week our team of dedicated dental volunteers traveled to Haiti and installed our BRAND-NEW dental chairs and ancillary equipment! We are so thrilled about this updated clinic!

Thanks to a generous donation of brand-new dental units from Dansereau Dental alongside a grant awarded by the International College of Dentists (ICD), we are expanding our impact on the dental health of children in Haiti! The donated equipment was delivered to our primary school last month and installed this week! We can’t wait to see how much more good this equipment will do in the lives of a population with nearly no way to afford dental care.

The original dental clinic was established at Les Bons Samaritains (LBS) in 2010 with used dental equipment that was minimally reconditioned. The dentists have been able to use this equipment over the past 9 years at LBS to examine and treat hundreds of students and staff during multiple visits each year. With this new equipment at LBS, we are able to establish a second clinic at our high school, James Stine College, with the older units, expanding our ability to treat even more students in the years to come.

Thank you to Dansereau Dental, the ICD, and our team of incredible dentists for making this happen!
