Due to the weather forecast, this year’s Crab Feast for Haiti was moved indoors at the last minute but didn’t miss a beat!

The new venue, thanks to Superior Catering, was packed with guests who enjoyed crabs, a delicious buffet, drinks, and an opportunity to learn how they could help further the quality of education offered to the children in Haiti.

The HHH team spoke about the many challenges still impacting daily life in Haiti and highlighted how the schools continue to serve as an oasis of hope for the students during this critical time. The attendees heard about a special way they could help to improve the lives and education of the school community and raised $10,000 that will feed the students and provide much needed classroom supplies.

The group also had a chance to color a banner that will be shared with the children in Haiti as an encouragement for their new school year.

A big thank you to our Maryland Event Committee members and all of our volunteers.

Another thank you to our Gold sponsors, McCormick and the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

And a most sincere thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to continue making Dr. Mortel’s vision a reality for the children in Haiti!
