Our First Happy Hour Q&A with the Mortels Raises $400

On a warm summer evening in late August, many of our supporters pulled up a figurative chair on the deck at the Mortel’s home in Hershey and enjoyed a drink along with some virtual conversation. 

Our first Facebook Live Happy Hour Q&A allowed participants to pose questions to Dr. Mortel and his wife, Cecile about virtually anything (no pun intended)!  It was a great way to sit back, relax, enjoy a drink, and hear all about Haiti, the students, the program, the impact of COVID-19, and many other interesting topics.  We are pleased to announce that the event raised $400 which was sent directly to support the teachers and staff in Haiti.
