School is open! 2023

We are excited to share with you that the 2023-2024 school year began last week in Haiti and all three of our schools opened as scheduled on September 11th. Attendance at LBS was on the low side at the start of the week (because some parents were unsure about sending their kids) – but gradually increased with almost everyone in attendance today. The preschool opened with a 90% attendance rate and James Stine College had a good showing of students as well.

We’re so glad to see the kids back in the courtyards and classrooms and excited for this new school year despite the challenges that continue to permeate the country.
