Legacy Fund

Dr. Rodrigue Mortel was a renowned medical doctor. He was a deacon in the Roman Catholic church. He was a generous philanthropist. He was a husband, a father, a "Poppy," a mentor, and a friend. Everyone he met felt his passion for education, his compassion for the poor, and his call to help others.

To honor this remarkable man and to keep his name alive, the Mortel High Hopes for Haiti Foundation has established the Dr. Rodrigue Mortel Legacy Fund to carry on his good works- to Go and Do the Same, like he wrote in his final book.

Please donate to this effort to continue Dr. Mortel’s legacy into perpetuity. Each year, the Dr. Rodrigue Mortel Legacy Fund will support a special initiative in either the US or Haiti that aligns with the areas he was most passionate about, including:

• Feeding those in need
• Providing educational opportunities for the disadvantaged
• Instilling values and character into youth of the local community
